What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
Boogaloo Academy is considered the studio that offers the Best of Both Worlds because we have top instruction in classical styles: jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and street styles: hip hop, breakdance and popping for Ages 6–8, 9–12, and teen/adult in introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Boogaloo Academy’s Early Childhood dance, music and movement program focuses on musicality, co ordination, spatial relations, body awareness, listening skills, music concepts, class room etiquette, creativity, expression and imagination along with an emphasis on building confidence and the enhancement of self esteem within each of the following classes:
Pre ballet for ages 3–5: ballet concepts, shapes and imagery using classical and orchestral music
Hip Hop for Tots, ages 2–3 and 3–5: latest music and hip hop concepts bouncing to the beat
Dance Mix for ages 2–3 and 3–5: a mix of ballet, jazz, hip hop and creative movement with music to match
Music and Movement for ages 2–3: music concepts and creative movement to a variety of styles of music

At Boogaloo Academy, teachers are experts in their field, possessing a genuine love for the magic of the arts and a natural gift for instilling this love in others. Through our specialized teaching techniques, an emphasis on individualized attention, and a focus on building self-esteem, students are taught to embrace their own natural abilities to reach their creative, expressive and physical potential.
Research shows that programs such as ours support the development of executive functions in children and youth. These critical, core skills include creativity, cognitive flexibility, discipline, inhibitory self-control and working memory.
