Supplying Vintage clothing since 2019, Subtle Flex Streetwear fortifies wardrobes with a storefront brimming with curated vintage men’s, women’s, youth, kids clothing, accessories and collectables. In addition to mainstream garments, our store carries select local brands and rare and exclusive one-off’s that you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere.
Subtle Flex Streetwear started out selling on Depop, Grailed and eBay until we grew enough to open our first brick and mortar store at 2511 East Hastings street in Beautiful Vancouver BC. With help from others in the industry we did our first pop-up at The East Van Block Party and have been going hard ever since, selling some of the hottest vintage and designer gear available in Van.
Unlike others, we at SFSW put all our products through a thorough restoration and cleaning process so that you get only the best looking garments to flex. Every piece is curated in-house by owner Austin Fishman, with a background in Music, Art and Fashion. OZ as he is known by, likes getting his hands dirty looking through piles of clothing for hours. He does all the hard work of finding the gems so you have only quality to look through at SFSW. He enjoys finding those pieces that bring a sense of nostalgia to our clientele. With an eye for colour, composition and rarity, Austin brings SFSW a unique appreciation for each and every piece.
Joseph Cruz, the second original founder, has a background in Business Entrepreneurship, Photography and Music Production. Alongside his wife Tania Berrios, Joseph takes care of our social media pages, brand management and community engagement. If you own a local clothing brand and are looking for a place to sell or if you’re a local band that has merch to spread around, talk to Joe. If you’re an artist trying to get your goods to market, Joe is your man, he is the initial contact for SFSW. One of his sayings is ” I want to see you eat, even if it’s not at my table” and that about sums him up right there.
If you’re rummaging through insta or enjoying our TikTok Videos, Tania Berrios’ work is what you are watching. With extensive experience in retail and with The Legendary Army & Navy Annual Shoe sale Organization, from logistics to shoe design in her pocket not to mention a background in Counselling and years in Social housing and non-profit work, Tania balances Subtle Flex by bringing that female energy along with the knowledge and knowhow her education commands.
