From late September to mid November, the Harrison River gives way to an abundance of red salmon migrating their way through the clear waters. Aside from fisherman, the annual salmon run is a major event for bears, harbour seals, eagles, osprey, and vultures. During 5-hour adventures, knowledgable guides lead canoers down the Harrison River, sharing with paddlers salmon-specific knowledge in addition to the history of canoeing and of the nation’s first inhabitants. At the end of the river journey, a shuttle will whisk guests back to the starting location.
