Half Roll Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar’s chef may be from Japan, but instead of creating traditional dishes from his country, he blends Western touches into his food. He rolls up sockeye salmon with avocado and other fruits to create the mango california roll, and pairs fried salmon with cream cheese in the Canada roll.
