More than 40 kilometers of snowshoe trails may sound good, but Ski Callaghan didn’t stop there. It offers a variety of snowshoe destinations to choose from, including an Olympic biathlon range, Whistler’s oldest cedar forests, spectacular landscapes, the base of a 150-foot waterfall, and the top of a towering Olympic ski jump.
In particular, Whistler is home to snowshoe terrain the park describes as “almost unlimited,” thanks to the area’s prevalent snowfall and sprawling coastal forest. Whistler invites winter athletes to embrace its winter wonderland, offering more than 55 kilometers of ski trails, a toboggan hill, an onsite café, and much more. The park, a venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics, also sees cross-country skiers compete, ski-jumpers jump, and biathlon participants biathlete through its 30 lanes.
