Inside the hallways of Monstars and Beasts Haunted House, things are just scary enough for the families making their way through. Live actors pop out of the woodwork dressed as spooks and goblins to give kids a thrill. Outside the haunted hallways, things are a little less creepy––kids can pick out pumpkins, capture their ghoulish likeness in the photo booth, or see if they win best dressed at the costume contest. To foster a festive atmosphere, staff also hand out candy to in-house trick-or-treaters or ghosts cranky from low blood-sugar, and sell seasonal drinks such as hot chocolate and witches brew.
In the weeks leading up to Halloween, creative souls can also register for special Halloween-themed workshops for an additional cost. These cover topics such as special effects makeup, painting pumpkins, or making masks, and help guests get in the spooky-spirit of the season.
