Osteria Napoli Ristorante’s owner and head chef Joe Briffa fills his upscale eatery with the aromas of authentic Italian and Sicilian recipes he’s been honing and perfecting since age 9. After working as a staff member, Chef Joe—who studied culinary artistry with some of Britain’s master chefs—bought the restaurant himself. His first steps as owner included redecorating to create a cozier ambiance now marked by red and white tablecloths and intricate tile flooring that doubles as a magic-eye image of Venus de Milo winking. Thursday through Sunday, customers can twirl their pasta to the beat of live music or order the menu’s signature porchetta, after which a roast pig arrives at their tables.
