  1. I bought a groupon-type deal for this salon through DealTicker. I was told there was only one slot on a Saturday available in the following two months that I could schedule my cut. I left work early on a work day to accommodate the Salon’s “busy” schedule. When I arrived the door was locked and no customers were in the salon. During my appointment no other customers arrived. I believe the hairdresser came from home just for my appointment. He was not busy at all.

    The entire appointment was a sales pitch for Morroccan Oil Treatment: shampoos, conditioners, etc. He asked what I wanted and I said 3-4 inches cut and layers with some thinning as I have very thick hair. I got a 2 minute (no exaggeration) haircut. He didn’t want to add layers because that would “complicate” my hair too much. He felt that the layers I already had were good enough even though I wanted them shorter. He then told me that the “hair removal” (because his method is soooo much better than every other hair salon’s method of thinning) is so time consuming I had to pay extra for it! Given that the only point of me getting hair cuts is to remove some of the bulk, I decided I would pay for it. Another $30 for thinning. I have never had to pay extra for hair thinning at any other salon. I didn’t even use the whole DealTicker deal (highlights, etc.) and assumed he would reduce the extra “thinning” cost because of that. He didn’t. He informed me how much tip I HAD to add to the final bill as well.

    I will never return there.
