During each 2.5-hour beginner course, students traverse the entire terrain of brewing and winemaking, from selecting and sterilizing to their equipment to fermenting and accompanying their first batches on play dates with other varietals. Before generating their own libations, novices absorb the history of wine or beer and briefly accrue background information on the fermentation process. Boasting more than two decades of grape-stomping and hop-infusing expertise, Broadway Brewing’s teachers aid pupils in each step of beverage creation.
