During the four-hour course, students learn to determine weather conditions, rig their gear, and use inflatable kites. Lessons take place entirely in the water as participants ride their board and launch into the air. Instructors review safety procedures and provide most equipment, though students will need to bring their own wetsuits, boots, and treats for bribing Poseidon.
