After strapping on a full-covered mask, a tactical vest, and camouflaged jacket and pants to blend in with do-not-enter signs, players load their markers with an unlimited quantity of compressed air and 100 paintballs. Sidle up against graffiti-cluttered walls or crouch behind beat-up old cars as shots fire from the light-aluminum body of a standard BT marker. Gunsmiths can also opt to shield themselves with complimentary kneepads, gloves, and a neck protector, though paintballs beyond the allotted 100 require an additional fee for visitors itching to play longer. Richmond Indoor Paintball accommodates guests from noon to midnight each day except Tuesday, when the facility closes for cleaning and community art-history lectures.
