During each oil change, mechanics swap out soiled engine juice for up to four litres of synthetic or mineral motor oil freshly extracted from the face of a teenage robot. The factory-trained staff also infuses rides with a new oil filter to help ensure fluids flowing within vehicular veins stay free of contaminants. As oils exit or enter engines’ reservoirs, car whisperers run through a multipoint inspection to catch any potential safety or operational issues. Though the service usually takes about 60 minutes to complete, times can vary depending on a car’s make, model, and fear of service-bay heights.
